Idea - Players can choose the order at which skills unlock as they level up.

After watching the Ziggy D interview with Jonathan and Mark I was thinking about the discussion they were having about unlocking skills at various levels and came up with an idea:
Skills could have different tiers(normal, magic, rare etc. or 1,2,3 etc.) depending on how strong/powerful they are. So Tier 1 skills could be skills that unlock from level 1 - 18, then Tier 2 skills from 19 - 36, and Tier 3 from 37 - 54. With this system all weaker skills would need to be tier 1, and stronger skills would go in higher and higher tiers; which would be up to the devs to decide. When the player cuts a gem, it shows all the skills for their class and would allow the skills within the same tier to be dragged and dropped changing the order in which they will be unlocked. There would be a default order so new players will not need to interact with this feature if they don't want to, or if they overlook it. What do you think? Last bumped on May 22, 2026, 12:04:18 AM
