Yet another plea for a materials inventory tab
|
It’s been the biggest point of friction I’ve with this game by far. Having to constantly sort materials in my inventory is making me not want to play.
Why can’t we have a materials tab? What is the reasoning behind this decision? Is it too much inventory space? Will it trivialize item weight? How? I legitimately don’t understand. Last bumped on May 11, 2026, 5:05:34 AM

What materials?

" Apologies. I should’ve been more specific. What I meant to say is mainly currency like orbs, but also things like fragments, gems, and all non-equipment items. Not saying I’d need a tab for every single one of them. I just want 1 inventory tab for equipment and 1 for everything else. It’s super frustrating organizing the inventory tab on console when everything we pick up goes all over the place. |

Inventory size is a game design, currency isn't specific materials, but items like equipment, so I don't think they'll consider increasing inventory.

" My issue is not the size however. It’s the sorting out which on console is simply not efficient enough. Playing the Titan ascendancy for example offers so much less friction because I don’t need to constantly sort my inventory. It’s much cleaner and more importably, everything stays where I want it to stay. |

" You have tabs for currency, gems, ritual, etc... You will have tabs for fragments and tablets on 0.5. So I don't really understand what you mean. As for controller map management, it's a matter of getting used to it. Surea mouse if easier, but controller also works once people get used to it. Far better than PoE1. |

" I’m talking about inventory tabs, not stash tabs. |
