I just want to give genuine credit where it’s due.
The architecture behind Path of Exile 2 must be incredibly well designed to allow updates of this scale to be delivered in such a short amount of time. As a software developer myself, I know how difficult it is to move fast without everything turning unstable — especially on a project this large.
What’s even more impressive is the reaction speed to bugs and community feedback. The turnaround time on fixes and adjustments has been exceptionally good overall.
It also genuinely feels like the team has a very strong work ethic and an efficient development structure. Large updates are being delivered with significantly better stability and quality than what has unfortunately become the industry standard lately.
So congratulations not only for the game itself, but for building an organization and development process capable of reacting and iterating this quickly while still maintaining quality.
Nice job management and developers!!
P.S: Give me a freaking SWORD!

most of the new mechanics create more issues than giving players anything useful.
Like runic ward - you remove 3k armour for 900 runic power - which is used as mana for some skills
Juiced content already have very demmanding survivalibity and now we will get even more harder content to juice.
But we will have less defences to do - so the runic ward is not an option unless.. i guess for ES like always
-They also slowly removing entire identity from POE 2 for sake of zooming and.. one hit or be one shoted builds.
-Debuffs to leech are absurds, they are again... nerfing melee for no reason.
While they are happy for being "ES" (lil nerf to regenative ES)
-Owl spirit showcases all issues with POE 2 core design. They are tuning game to be just zoomer game with no deep and skill needed to play.. again.
And they will be again surprised why armour used don't have enough armour - late game even with armour base buffs.
For players who understand the game - all of the stuff is more worrying.

There aren't even any patch notes but you pretend to know everything about the runic system because you've watched a reveal video. Dude, we don't anything yet so it's quite soon to be worried. ALso the "understanding the game" doesn't mean anything here. So be patient and start your worries when we know more.

Almost a year is a short time? Remember all this was supposed to be done in .4 and they said it was almost done but couldn't be finished in time. Cool no problem. But no new weapons when this was allegedly almost done back in December? Couldn't even add in new skills to the already existing weapons as some sort of half measure to give people some options instead of the same already played builds?

Im not "pretend" but assuming based on the Q/A information we have...
We know
- Leech is going to be nerfed: We know exacly how it will work now. It's mechanical change that makes not a guess - but technical change where numbers doesn't matter. It will be more "guessable" and now we will not be able to calculate it that easly in game. POB will be needed to even min/max it.
- We know armour base types have buff.
- We know es regen is goin to be nerfed
- afix for levels - nerf.
- How runic defense layer works and that we will use that as spender to use mana - so it mean much more defensives. YOu are getting rid of around 1-3k of armour to use some support gems. But there - can be surpisingly good in damage. BIS for most. This is what we will not know as you said we dont have patch notes.
Based on that and knowing the changes that are not speculative - i know. Im playing POE 1 15 years straight. Making my own builds. It gives me very high understanding of the game floor and how it will affects the meta and non-meta builds. Changes to leech are destructible for melee.

Don’t get me wrong — I’m not commenting on, complaining about, or complimenting the game itself. Since this is still Early Access, looking at the game from a larger perspective is much more important right now.
You simply cannot properly balance a game while so many features and content are still missing. Having strong fundamentals is the most important thing at this stage: the ability to react quickly to feedback, bugs, and design changes.
The real goal is reaching a point where the game is “complete” enough that balancing can be done quickly without breaking something else. In my opinion, that is the most important part of Early Access — and of the game’s long-term success overall.

Really no offense and I don't even doubt your experience. But I'm also experienced and as an experienced player you should know that in the end it is the patch notes that matters. Everything else are just wild and unbased assumptions.
I'm up for a discussion about the new runic system as soon as we really know everything. Until then it's just wild theories and you should follow your own rule that the loudest opinions aren't always the most valuable ones. And wild assumptions are usually the loudest and least valuable ones.
