Suggestion towards release (PTR leagues)

0.5 being the final major league towards release, I heard Jonathan say there will be like temporary leagues like races. Back in 0.1 players explicitly stated they hate having their characters be functionally broken in the middle of a league due to rebalancing and changes.

In order to crowdsource testing rebalances, maybe a PTR league can exist alongside after everyone had their share of 0.5. That way GGG can actually gather more data from players that are willing to accept the fact things can be broken.

This should (I guess in theory) help towards an even better 1.0 release.

Since the time between 0.5 and release is quite a ways still, why not make the most of it for people who want to continue being engaged with PoE while GGG can cook more freely.

Would you be interested?

To be honest I would even join such a PTR where they can buff or nerf me however they are pleased to do. I wouldn't rage around like 90% of the playerbase does, hehe. And it would definetely help the game as I suppose.
HCSSF - What else?
I mean the league are actual PTR, and standard is ... you know the standard game.
A fact is a statement that can be supported to be true or false by data or evidence. In contrast, an opinion is a personal expression of a person’s feelings or thoughts that may or may not be based in data.

I guess the OP means a PTR where GGG is "allowed" to test balancings within a current season. The last time they did stuff like that there was a huuuuuuuuuuuuge storm of rage from the whole player base which is really ridiculous when you keep in mind that the game is under development.

Back in 0.1 GGG had the idea of balancing the game throughout the league but this backfired on them so they dropped this way of developing the game entirely since.

As such GGG started treating a league as a fully launched season where they only fix the extremely broken edge cases, where as with a PTR league I wouldn't mind being more of a test subject if it meant the game would be even better at the end.
