Anyone else here both a 'skill' and 'knowledge' player?

The guy directing the game likes adding in elements of 'skill' games while also appeasing 'knowledge' players. Inevitably it will become a dominantly 'knowledge' game that allows you to play it as a 'skill' based game with a preferred build if you feel like it.
This is literally perfect for people like me. More stuff means more play time, and more stupid builds I can try out. You don't need to know everything. It's interesting seeing people on the far sides of the spectrum losing their minds. Before people were complaining that they were making it into a souls-like, and now there are people complaining that there are too many systems. Me.
I always considered path of exile 2 a mix between action combat (skill) and deep systems / passive tree (knowledge). Ideally one needs to be good at both to succeed in the hard content. |
