I cant fathom why we cant use duelist, shadow and templar during early access isnt that the place for new content like that to be tested? We all are aware that druid was chosen to out do D4s druid but choosing to one up their rival instead of showing loyalty to the fans who started on those classes who myself included paid for Early access it feels disrespectful to our time and investment in the franchise anyone who mains those classes is being treated like a second class consumer like our money and time doesnt matter to them. While using the early access as a safety umbrella to defend against any criticism and lets not forget about the parasocial bodygaurds who defend anything their served due to years of complacent life styles.
GGG sold supporter packs with sword skins during early access implying swords would be a priority. Now, devs laugh off the missing Duelist in interviews and suggest the class might not even make it into the "full" 1.0 launch. Why are we being treated this way? Why was Druid priotized over the other classes when its an entirely new thing? Why are streamers like Ghazzy and Rax catered too? the loudest voices in the room arent always right. I just dont wanna be forced to play the same classes again Im not intrested in the new ascendacies I want the playstyle of the missing classes I skipped the druids season cause it didnt intrest me now after 7 months I have to skip another? Why are people who main those classes being alienated by the devs and community I just wanna use a sword and shield is that too much? Last bumped on May 8, 2026, 7:26:12 AM

I feel you man. All I wanna do is play a sword/dagger build, but GGG can't figure out who to put fucking swords in their ARPG...
I like fast melee, just not interested in anything else. |

" well, i'm a cyclone lover and mostly play slayer, but we're not second class ? Druid, monk, mercenary, huntress... these are new classes for poe, even warrior is kinda new, you guys gotta stop thinking about who ggg loves or what poe 2 tries new things and duelist isn't, yet it will be the first familiar class to be added to the game in 1.0. just enjoy new content or wait till poe 2 release 1.0. |

Relax dudes and dudettes, everything will be presented in due time.
I get that people want swords, they want shadow, gladiator etc, but step back for a moment, there are more important things we need like the reworked endgame system which is finally worth playing. And don't start with the "Oh but the Druid was released, Huntress was released, when will we get what we want", it will come. As far as I understand it, the Druid and Huntress in their respected ways are novelties, as is expected from a SEQUEL to a game. There is so much to come and to be expected before 1.0 even releases with some updates, balance changes etc, who knows, they might surprise you and put in something mid way. Relax, take a breather, if you don't like playing Melee with Maces, play anything else, have some fun, it's a game after all. |
