Is free weekend gonna happen during the POE 2 new update launch?

I've read that GGG might do. Hoping it's real since I can't or won't have access to POE 2 yet. I really thought it won't take this much time for the free release.

Buying an EA key you get that same value in coins to buy skin effects or stash tabs. Stash tabs are pretty much a necessity, so you're really not spending any extra money.

PoE1 has a free weekend every weekend, and every other day to boot.

The previous 2 leagues had free weekend at start
So I'm quite sure there's a free weekend this time too

Oh that would be nice. As for the EA key, well, it's a bit much especially since the conversion rate of the usd ramps up the price (price can pay my electric and water bill in that manner lol), so only thing I can do is wait. I can't count how many giveaways I joined but no luck. Free weekend it is.

Pretty sure there will be a free weekend since they did that for the previous 2 leagues iirc.
