Regional pricing

I would like to inquire as to why regional pricing disappeared from the steam store suddenly, I had purchased one of the supporter packs when EA first released that would have originally cost 60 USD but I had gotten it for 33 USD or so.
So what was the reason behind GGG removing it? was it unintentional? are they never going to reimplement it for the countries that used to have it?
It is very odd in my opinion, any ideas?

Looks like they have regional pricing in place.

Odd. MENA region, which I'm in, used to have regional pricing but it's gone. So maybe this was unintentional?
