Is drag clicking against ToS?

To better understand why this is even a question:
• it occurs at the hardware level - no macro is involved
• no special hardware needed - you can do it with the $5 Walmart mouse
• it is a player skill that you can learn

What drag clicking is:
Drag clicking involves dragging your finger over the mouse button in a specific way, that makes the button vibrate and the switch register dozens of clicks per second (heard wild stories of up to triple digits).

The conundrum:
The ToS state that you can't make more than one server action per click. Now, since all the clicks are made on the hardware level, you could say if you drag click, that you are physically making all the clicks yourself. However, because of the specific way you make multiple clicks in a single drag across like less than an inch, you could argue that it is a single button-press-like action, therefore it would be multiple clicks per "button press".

I think developer interpretation is needed here.

Yes.

Irrelevant.

The Terms of Service document mentions neither "one server action" nor "click".

GGG's policy on automation governs player behaviour, not hardware - and "dragging your finger" will not be construed by them as being dozens of distinct interactions, let alone hundreds.

And I do suspect you know this already.

Sure.

You could also say that pigs can fly.

Given that GGG has previously clarified that using a popsicle stick to interact with five buttons at one time with a single action can result in permanent account closure, I don't think they'll be too impressed by this attempt at creating ambiguity where there clearly is none.
GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.

No ads, trackers, or other weird stuff.
Hi there, information about our third party policy can be found here: https://www.pathofexile.com/developer/docs#policy

I think GGG's stance that binding to clicky scroll wheels is allowed, but free spinning ones is not; is a better example of how they'd map what OP wants to do to a bannable offense.

OTOH if it generates clicks at anything close to the claimed rate, it'd almost certainly trigger a too many actions disconnect if tried. I don't know if those can progress to bans or not since in them the system is saving itself.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?
