How do I get insane mana regen on an Elementalist?

Playing with the new Shock Nova build with Archmage, and I need insane mana regen. How would I go about doing that?

archamge is a mana stacker build, so stack it ;) Get arcane surge, get recover mana on skill use and ~ 7k+ mana. there is no clever trick, you just need to outpace your consumption.

There are certain uniques that can help, like Atziri's Foible and Cloak of Defiance (if you also want to use Mind over Matter). Inspiration support helps as well. Clarity, Lightning Golem (since you're an elementalist). And of course grab as many mana regen nodes on the tree as you can.

Also, you're still low level. Archmage might not be viable until your mana pool is big enough (maybe 4-5k) and you have enough regen nodes. Not sure if that's possible at lvl 60.

Regen alone is rarely enough unless you're going for specific setups.
I would recommend looking into effects like "X% chance to recover 10% mana when you use a skill", available as a mana mastery and watcher eye. "% reduced mana cost of skills" is also nice to get.

Alternatively get a Lavianga's Spirit until you find something better. Might as well look into playing Indigon with that if you feel like managing potion uptime, I recommend Tides of Time for this setup.


I for one went and tried the new Khatal's Geyser and a giga Mana Flask this league. Stacking Flask effect was surprisingly decent (On Hirophant ofc.).
