Migration to steam

I have been on standalone poe since in started, more than a decade ago.
I plan on swaping from standalone to Steam if it can improve the use of the (soon to be mine) steam controller/deck/etc.... So I'm here to know how it goes : is it possible? Is there some imrprovment/drowBack? I know If i take the 'windows' steamDeck I could instal the standalone poe on it but I want to considere several possibilities. Oh so I can link them afterward! Now I understand ! I do not have a Steam account Yet, might be why i didnt see it in linkable apps/accounts !

Hi there, to play via the Steam platform you would need to ensure you have your Steam linked to your Path of Exile account.
