Inscribed Ultimatum failing upon disconnect

Please introduce some kind of an automatic 'pause' if you are getting disconnected during an ongoing ultimatum as this is ridiculous to lose an expensive ultimatum just because a server is having a problem.
Why can't ultimatums just pause if you are getting disconnected instead for you to be able to walk back ?.
