2nd ascendancy trial error

I ran into what is apparently a known bug during my second ascenscion trial on my character DireWasp, I had managed to defeat the boss but then died to a lingering AOE after it dropped the loot so was unable to complete the trial but also unable to re-access the final zone to reset the area.

I have tried entering a new token but it doesn't do anything because the other instance still exists despite being inaccessible by me.

I sent a support E-mail but it directed me to post here instead, is it possible to just hard reset the trial on my account for that character or will it erase the instance after a certain amount of time has passed?

Would love some word that this hasn't effectively bricked that character

To anyone else stuck with this issue in the future, it will eventually resolve itself when the instance refreshes- Though you will lose access to the boss drops and will have to find another token to re-attempt the trial.
