Item rarity gear does nothing.

i put my char blade vortex cheiftain with 700+++rarity and got nothing from all experiment i do with my friend as he does with his nothing worth while drop and we take all the alter as well i notice this for awhile now it been week is this a bug or what??and when we do this with normal attack base char in the same rarity map and quantity it drop more items and very good loot better than we wear the rarity item finding with all the altar scarab and gear we put on almost 1k rarity nothing worht while drop and in 1 map i do with 3 colour wisp buff i got 2k each with 700rarity item find onyl to drop 1 div..it does not make sense.
