Is the Be Quiet! FX 800 PC case safe to use with budgies in the same room?

Hey everyone,

I bought a pre-built PC with a Be Quiet! FX 800 case. I have budgies in my room, and only just now that it's arrived did I realize the top is open.

I'm worried about droppings getting in or something.

Does anyone have a solution, or do I really have to send the PC back? Or does anyone else have birds and a gaming PC in the same room and have any tips for me?

I can't put it anywhere else. And it's currently on my desk.

Never looked that closely at the top of my BeQuiet case. Didn't realize there are holes, even though screened.

Didn't find any commercial products as solutions, but came up with the following idea (Essentially curving a high sheet of plastic over top of case to allow airflow and prevent anything from dropping through.

it sounds really good. Do you also have budgies in your computer room? Has anything ever happened?

You can maybe buy Mesh Filter.
