Ancient Vows turn in not giving rewards on Xbox

Was playing multiplayer game with friend. He turned in the quest when I wasn't in the zone and received the charm slot unlock. When I zoned in and placed the runes the quest never gave the option and my charm slot is locked still. The queat is showing as complete. I have tried logging off and on again, restarting the game mlby myself, getting a new instance...nothing is working. Missing out on a loot item is frustrating, but not being able to unlock gear slots has build-breaking potential. Can this be fixed, or is there a way to unlock it in the future? I really don't want to have to level up a new character just to be able to continue playing in the group.

Any assistance from the devs would be great.
