Ascension Trials Boost

I understand that some classes have more problems with completing the trial of sekhema than others, you can always do ascension on chaos trial, but never mind.
Now that it's around 0.5, it's a huge opportunity for another way to gain ascension on TOTA (which they should add to the game), in my opinion, there should be a change that allows you to gain points only by doing the trial on your own. such practices are unfair, if you are unable to complete the test - you do not deserve the reward what are your opinions on this? Trial should be a trial. If someone's lacking the skills to overcome that, they are not worthy to get asc points. |

i generally dislike boosting services not only for trials, but for anything. ppl selling arbiter, selling t3 pinnacles, even selling campaign bosses. Problem is if you take that away you lose too many players because they are immune to learning the boss fights. boosting is a part of any game with an economy and sadly will always be. if you don't like that i recommend playing SSF. but there is no way they can get rid of it. I would argue the majority of players buy their sekhemas and in HC a big portion also just buy t3 pinnacles to get the atlas points. you would alienated a huge portion of the player base by doing so. you would also alienate those players that make their currency like by boosting.
HOWEVER: one idea i had - once the game is fully launched and they introduce achievements it would be cool to have achievements for accomplishing all that content by playing solo to prevent those achievements from being "boostable" |

" If we nerf the evasion and ES builds to the point were they are on par with armour I would support that attempt. But as long as there is stuff like CI or Evasion in the game which allows you to literally trivialize the whole content, no. Make ES builds only stack ES to max twice the amount of life and let honour be only half of the value. Remove Evasion and make it a rollable modifier like deflect on gear parts, so that it is only a chance to be able to evade stuff. Then we can also make it single player required and make the content balanced, fitting to all the characters. But as long as player power and some are better suited for a specific content and the progress behind it being mandatory for most, don't gate it behind mechanics that some benefit more from. |

I think they should do something about the overall fun factor first. The entire reason why so many people buy clears is because they don't consider it fun to do at all even if in some cases they actually did finish them on their own or are capable of it.
Both trials currently waste massive amounts of your time and effort on failure, can take easily more than an hour to complete successfully, use limited tokens that are used up, and you can't just stop to take a break and come back, it has to be in one go. I agree completely. Trials are way easier than they used to be. Instead of engaging with the game people pay someone else to play it for them.
" That's not true, though. You can leave the trial and come back at any point and once you're used to running a trial you can get it done in like 20 minutes start to finish. GGG adds ascendancy. People bitch it's too hard and one shots HC chars.
GGG adds honor and nerfs trap damage. People bitch honor can't be restored. GGG lets you restore honor and adds honor loss resistance. People bitch that it's RNG and depends on your relic drops. GGG makes it rain relics so it's simple to get a good setup. People still bitch. It's not RNG. It's not time wasting. It's game playing and a lot of whining about that. |
