Matron meta craft issue.

I have cogwork rings with full suffixes, including a fractured essence mod, and open prefixes. I have Matrons. I have lots of yellow beasts. There are no crafted mods on the rings. I have used this craft previously in 3.28 so yes its unlocked. I am unable to apply the Matron craft. I CAN apply the bench meta but it's 2 Div ugh.
I cannot use the Matron meta craft for any item as far as I can tell. When I put an item that meets the craft requirements the craft is selectable but my beasts are not available in the sacrifice boxes except for the Matron and one spider that I can put in one of the other boxes. Why are the other captured yellow beasts in my menagerie not available? This has been going on since I did 4-5 matron crafts on an item and suddenly can't anymore. I gave up and spent the 2 divs on the benchcraft then, but the problem persists and I don't want to spend 2 div per metacraft. Last bumped on Apr 26, 2026, 3:10:15 PM

You are unable to do a Matron craft, but can still do any other beastcraft?

these reports never have any SS's... sounds like you are out of yellow beasts, your menagarie is likely full of red beasts

Thank you Dorkdud. I totally missed how all the rare beasts look the same and that the only way to know which are actually yellow or red is by counting the mods they have. Super intuitive, can't see how I missed it especially after your descriptive input.
Maybe next time cry less about SS's and offer a more complete possible solution, but that's a bug for a different forum. |

A screenshot would have indicated that you were missing yellow beasts--not only by showing that it wasn't able to autofill the beasts, if you took the screenshot after selecting the craft, but also with the recipe requirements shown on the right, where missing requirements are faded. ![]() Other indicators for Yellow Beasts are: Their picture when viewed in the Bestiary: generic species picture rather than a model Their species: Yellow Beasts are normal enemy types, while Red Beasts have species names prefixed with Craicic/Fenumal/Saqawine/Farric for normal beasts, Wild/Primal/Vivid for harvest beasts, or are unique for bestiary bosses and Black Morrigan ![]() If you don't want to post screenshots with your bug reports, post more information.
