1 Portal does not belong in a game with so many technical quirks

No, I don't think it's too difficult. On my current character I would actually love to use 1 portal so that I can have 3 tablets at once. But I cannot do it, because the risk of a random technical issue or a server disconnect is too high.

This wouldn't be a big deal if "losing the map" only meant you have to spend a new Waystone and tablets. But in most cases, losing the map also causes unrecoverable damage to the atlas. You lose access to nexii, or map mods (mods of the map, rather than the waystone). In some cases tablets no longer work if you are retrying a map.

1 Portal is just too unforgiving due to the current state of the map. If the maximum juice still allowed 2 portals, that'd be cool.
