Why are monsters allowed to be using that molten shell explosion ability and teleport or burrow right on top of me and it explodes immediately? I was doing harvest and one of those little bugs spawned with this rare mod and right as it was almost done with the molten shell explosion it burrows right on me and blows up right away. I had no way of avoiding this. This game is so bad
EDIT: So this got moved here instead of being in the bug report section. So this is working as intended. Then it's even worse LMAO. Why the hell can those little burrowing bugs literally teleport in the middle of using that molten shell nonsense. They burrow yet at the same time they instantly resurface underneath me WOW.. You may want to try ruthless cuz I heard it was balanced to be more in line with an actual ARPG where action, positioning and gear drop matter. You may not get far into the end game (I heard it's hard over there), but at least you will enjoy your time for not getting BS-ed.
And disregard PoE2, it's already half way to be PoE1 minus the skill tree and gem system. Irrelevant rant

Ignore what ever people try to sweettalk you into the game for being an ARPG. It was already a memory of the past. Now PoE is a spreadsheet puzzle for people to create something that instantly pop everything on the screen, because if you use anything less, it's not gonna be fun. You get swarmed, bum-rushed, chain stunned or the arena with get cluttered with so many degen grounds from periodic triggers that you no longer have anywhere to stand anymore (stare at you, Cortex, Maven, Shaper, Elder).
The entire game is design to force you to kill as fast as possible. If you get hit by BS, it's a sign you need more DPS. (Not saying in the mean of "git gud", it is just about the only way for us to avoid BS - by killing it before it happen.) Due to powercreep, GGG has been adding more and more things that focus on kill the player as fast as possible because players have also been constantly finding ways to kill things as fast as possible. It's a race between GGG and the top 1% players, we are just the unfortunates that get caught in the middle. |
