Faustus Is Hurting the Trading Experience

Faustus has honestly become one of the most frustrating NPCs I’ve encountered in the game.
Normally I enjoy NPCs having personality, but Faustus’ behavior has gone beyond “character” and reached a point where it’s simply annoying.

Every time I list an item or perform a trade action, he constantly makes reluctant, uneasy sounds, as if he hates what he’s doing. As players, we already deal with repetitive actions, and having to hear this negative energy every single time doesn’t add to the experience — it actually makes it worse.

The fact that these voice lines are triggered so frequently makes the situation even more frustrating. After a while, even when I just want to quickly handle my trades, I find myself getting irritated purely because of this NPC’s behavior. Instead of enhancing immersion, it breaks it.

I believe there are some simple but effective solutions here:

An option to mute or separately adjust NPC voice lines
The ability to choose a preferred merchant NPC in the hideout
Or at the very least, reducing the intensity and frequency of Faustus’ voice lines and animations

Considering the overall quality of the game, small but constantly encountered details like this can have a significant impact on the player experience. It would be great to see some improvements in this area.

I agree 100%, his constant nagging is unbelievably annoying but I bet they put it that way knowingly.
Faustus is one of best NPCs, altho his audible cues could simply have reduced % chance to trigger thats all.
