Early access key??

My friends who i joined POE with apparently have keys for POE2 and are playing that now, how do i check if i have one? one of them said someone gave it to them. Is paying the only option? i've been playing POE as f2p, will POE2 go f2p as well in the future or will it stay as a paid game?

It will go f2p with 1.0 release. People give away keys for early access on reddit sometimes. Check now and again you might get lucky.
