To be frank, 0.5 is a big update for PoE2 and GGG.
* GGG has repeatedly stated that 0.5 will be end-game focused. But will that really be the case, or will it just be talk? * Yes, 0.5 is a really big step (even from my perspective as a player). 0.5 is one of the biggest milestones for us as we move towards 1.0. *So what will version 0.5 promise us? Frankly, I want to see GGG chart its own course and move along that path. In version 0.5, I hope they will revise or remove the systems that are working well and those that are not working or are missing. *(Charm system) It continues to feel like it's not working or is working inadequately; compared to the Flask system, it's only about 3% as important as the potential of the flasks. (I think it needs to be corrected, changed, or removed.) *The Ascendancy system needs a complete overhaul. If the loot drops were adjusted, it could truly become a valuable end-game element. However, when it comes to Ascendancy points, the system is completely illogical. It's an unnecessary obstacle, a superfluous hurdle (I think even the version in PoE 1 was better than this). *The Recombinator really needs fixing. The success rate is too low considering the amount of resources it requires. You need to increase the pass probability and the required resource amount. *You need to make Divine Orbs usable. People were constantly spending Divine Orbs before Temporalis and Ingenuity were nerfed. But now they're just a visual object that's traded. If we can't actually use them, or if there aren't unique items of value that would allow us to use them, why are they in the game? *The game has many modifiers and possibilities, but the one-shot kill scenario still persists. My friend, you need to do something about this (like improving the death screen or death information) or fix the tanking issues. Yes, version 0.5 is coming, but the game still operates on the principle of "If you don't kill with one shot, you die with one shot," and that's frustrating. *Server problems and connection issues. I hope it will get better. *There's still no fix for the visual clutter. We're hoping for improvements to the graphics settings so we can reduce some animations, shadows, fog, explosion, and fire effects in the game. Hopefully we'll see some of these fixed in version 0.5.
