Games to look at if waiting for 0.5

Just some suggestions for games that are good for 2-3 weeks, but also have replayability, for those needing something to do until 0.5.

See ya in a month!

Grim Dawn - Great arpg if you don't mind dated graphics. Would be my second favorite arpg overall to PoE. Single player only though, which can be a turn off for some.

Hero Siege - With the recent updates I find this to be the most enjoyable right now. I've owned the game for years, but never played it. If you have never given it a try I highly recommend doing so. It will be what I'm playing until 0.5

Hellclock/Shape of Dreams - Arpg/Roguelikes with some interesting features to them. They do not have a ton of depth yet and can be played through in a couple days, but are very enjoyable. If you are looking for something to run through over a weekend I would give these a look.

PD2 - I haven't played in a while, but this is probably what a lot of people will be diving into until 0.5. If you are a fan of D2 and own a copy this is something to look at, even though most likely you have. It is an amazing mod, with tons of depth for builds, as well as endgame grinding options.

Core Keeper - Just a fun game that I found many arpg fans enjoy. If you enjoy some city building, resource gathering, and character progression I would give this a look if you haven't already. It's normally cheap, but you can also get it on sale for even less. Definitely worth a look and a good couple weeks of gaming to be had.

Feel free to add any suggestions below. Have a great weekend!

Grim Dawn is an old favourite of mine for sure.
I like Valheim (even if the devs are on vacation)
Pillars of Eternity is one I just recently acquired and am enjoying as well.

I honestly think these campaign navigation changes are a huge win for alt-leveling. I’ve spent way too many hours getting lost in the more open zones like the Hunting Grounds or Grelwood, so having some subtle environmental cues to point me in the right direction is a godsend. It doesn't feel like it’s holding your hand too much since it's just flavor stuff like the direction of the wind or path markings, but it’ll definitely shave off that annoying "dead time" when you're just hitting a dead end. I get that some people like the pure exploration, but when I'm on my third character of the league, I just want to get to maps without the headache.
You can always go back your favorite online competitive game

Like CS2 / Valorant
DOTA / League

Its fun to go for a high elo then realize you are just wasting your time, then 0.5 hits
For those looking for something niche, a journey perhaps:

- Voices of the Void (atmospheric horror, no jumpy)
- Rusty Lake / Cube Escape (point & click)
- Quern - Undying Thoughts (Myst/Riven-like)
- Tales of Maj'Eyal (traditional roguelike)
- Lunacid (dark fantasy dungeon crawler)
Spyro reignited trilogy
