New Season 29 May Start not good

Hello, I'm a Turkish player and first of all, thank you for adding Turkish language support to the game. ı want to report a problem: You've scheduled the new season for May 29th. This is very bad news for Turks because the holiday is ending. It's called Eid al-Adha in Turkey and usually starts on May 27th. People usually combine the Monday and Tuesday of the previous week to have a week-long holiday, but if you launch the game on May 29th, it will coincide with the end of the holiday, and nobody will be able to play, especially Turks. If you set it for May 22nd, you will reach an incredible number of players compared to May 29th. So please 22 May Start so good for us and not only türks All muslim people

By "every country," I mean that if this is a worldwide holiday and it coincides with the end of a holiday, fewer players will play the game or trade will decrease, but everyone can play during the holiday, which significantly extends the life of the season.

There is no such thing as a world wide holiday.

No but there are holidays that are observed by a significant number of people. And it might be worth for a company to consider those in their planning. Or why else do you think companies do events for x-mas?

because the majority player base of these games are people that celebrate christmas and usually the devs do too

And how long are said holidays exactly in each country celebrating it?

You understand that it's holidays and not new leagues release.

To simplify it for you: Holidays can span multiple days. A release not.

Not even considering timezones.

I don't think any cultures holidays should dictate league timings. And esp when many muslims, such as my family, spend the time with each other.. not playing games. So shifting the league start wouldn't guarantee a higher playrate from muslim players.

And during Chinese New Year a lot of companies swap their employers & consumers or what?

Or is it like this: Whenever a good chunk of your customers, and that could also just be a large minority, has something going on, businesses should pay attention cause that makes them more money (example: when companies needs to ship physical products, good luck getting that contract fulfilled when there's a holiday going on)

Whatever a good chunk means right? And since we don't have numbers from GGG sales team, I guess people should just voice their stuff and we'll see how it turns out.

[edit] oh and yeah, since you brought up that specific group. You may have noticed that a bunch of those countries also have holidays around that same time. You know, ascension, Labor Day, etc..
