Feels like the hype built up a week or so ago but the moment has passed. I am all out of hypes to give if I have to wait 40 days and will just meh into the league start and see where it goes I guess. w/e.

I don’t have a problem waiting, especially when the content is likely to be awesome.
Having said that, 0.4 launched on December 12th. That’s just shy off 6 months until the 29th of May for 0.5. That’s a long time. Another thing is D4 is launching its expansion next week which is when 0.5 should’ve been launching. Can’t help but feel perplexed at why GGG is letting the competition ride the hype with essentially, nothing to show. Delaying for more than a month while considering all the above is not a good look for GGG and the game. Just my opinion. When the competition brings their A game, you should bring yours too. " Yeah I'm just feeling a bit indifferent tbh. It would've been nice to see something new and exciting a bit earlier but the best way I can describe my anticipation is "meh". Maybe I'll play d4, never been a fan but I'll probably go into both leagues feeling a bit indifferent, or d4 might be good. Who knows. I am a bit saddened that I'll feel very fizzled out in 40 days. People will tell you to "turn on" and "turn off" hype on a whim but people go by vibes. |
