Chimera Bossfight in act 3 crashes the game

I created a new SSF character; this is my 6th character overall. I didn’t encounter such issues on previous characters.
I reached the Chimeral Wetlands location in act 3, and as soon as I approach the checkpoint before the boss fight with the chimera, the game crashes.
All subsequent attempts to log into the character crash during the loading into the location.

To fix it, I tried:

Switching DirectX 11/12/Vulkan
Disabling DLSS
Disabling multithreading
Running as administrator
Disabling CPU 0 usage in processes
Loading into town, resetting the location, and running it again

None of these actions helped.

Has anyone else encountered the same problem and knows how to fix it?
