Challenge vs. Attrition

EAs a 66-year-old veteran gamer, I’ve seen many iterations of the ARPG genre, but the current balance of Version 0.4.0 is a significant deterrent to enjoyment. While I appreciate tactical depth, the current tuning has shifted from "challenging" into a grueling war of attrition.

1. The "Health Sponge" Problem
The health pools this season are simply humongous. I have reached the point where I have stopped running the Temple entirely because the fights are far too drawn out. When a monster’s health bar moves imperceptibly despite consistent damage, the game ceases to be fun.

The Physical Toll: At my age, "finger fatigue" is a real factor. These excessively long fights cause genuine physical discomfort. A game should be a test of skill and strategy, not a test of joint endurance or how long I can mash buttons.

2. Excessive Mechanic Overlap (Mana Siphon)
The distribution of certain modifiers feels unbalanced. In a recent Temple run, I encountered no fewer than 15 monsters with mana-stealing rings. One specific engagement featured three of them simultaneously.

The Result: When resources are stripped away so aggressively in a fight that is already a "slog" due to high HP, the gameplay loop becomes frustrating rather than engaging.

3. Screen-Wide "Death Blows"
There is a recurring issue with boss skill telegraphing and arena coverage. Many bosses utilize skills or "death blows" that cover 80% to 100% of the visible arena.

The Problem: When a skill covers the entire field, "skill-based dodging" is no longer an option. How is a player supposed to survive when 80% of the field is covered? It feels less like a mechanic to be mastered and more like an unavoidable death-tax.

Final Take:
This season is simply not enjoyable. You have extended the duration of battles much too long. For a player like me, who has been gaming for decades, the current state feels like a chore rather than a hobby. Please consider tuning health scaling and visual clarity to bring the "fun" back into the endgame.
