MTX Ideas & Suggestions

1. FLOATING EFFECT as a ring or belt mtx, so we can use any armor and float.

2. A Change color effect for every mtx. (ex: Purple Char Effect can change to red, blue, green and yellow, or : Verdant Flamestrider Boots could also change color, and many others)

3. The possibility to have 2 char effects at the same time.

I strongly suspect this is one of those requests that quietly asks for a lot more than is apparent at first blush. When they're creating individual MTX, they almost certainly have to look at each of the animations that particular item has to account for and do work for each individual animation.

If they've spent over a decade pumping out armour skins which assumed the character using them would never float / be mounted / etc, then suddenly attempting to break those assumptions would almost certainly entail manually updating each of those old MTX - for which there's almost certainly no business case, as no justifiable price for a single 'your character now floats' MTX would offset how much time the art team would need to spend doing broadly invisible (or at least underappreciated) work on a per-armour set basis. This would be hugely expensive for them.

It would also just be massively inopportune - promising that all MTX will be gradually updated for PoE 2 has already saddled their art team with a multi-year backlog; unless this MTX can somehow piggyback off of that work, which I doubt, they would almost certainly refuse to impose yet another multi-year backlog on the art team to roll out something like this.

If they'd known in-or-around, say, Patch 0.8 that they would one day bring floating to the game, maybe they could have just always implemented the required animations for each armour set as they were introduced to the game. At least for PoE 1, the ship has almost certainly sailed.
