Died BEFORE entering the map

Playing in the party of 2. Entering the map second. Loading takes a little longer than usual. While loading, I can hear the sounds of being beaten. When I finally enter the map, I see the message "You have died." Wow. 5 points to Gryffindor! Developers, are you there? Is this normal?

you are invulnerable while entering a map until you move
Mash the clean
This should be the case, but in fact, it was exactly as I wrote.

Look. This problem happened also to me. It depends on GPU. Older GPUs doesn't open quickly the game after loading screen but it doesn't mean the game is not running. That's why you hearing sounds without seeing anything yet. Hearing these sounds means, if you touch keyboard or gamepad your character starts moving despite that you can't see his actions becouse of the remaining loading screen. So probably monsters in the area attacked you and killed your character.

This game sucks for older GPUs and doesn't have support. You need to find the quickest lounch to game drivers and install them. I did it for my GTX 1660 super despite being outaded and the popping start message every time i entering game. These version drivers are the fastest so I'm keeping them to bypass this problem you mentioned.

That's not true. The GTX 1660S isn't an old card for this game, it's just underpowered. If you set XeSS to Ultra Performance mode, the card can deliver 60 fps in FHD almost everywhere at maximum settings.

According to the developers, the GTX 1080 is a pretty good card for the game. The graphics developer apparently even has a GTX 1050 ti or something like that.

Sorry, I confused it with the first part of POE. But the game has the same graphics engine. At medium settings with XeSS on Ultra Performance mode, the card delivers approximately +30 fps in demanding scenes. Just like in the first game, it's severely underpowered. The game loads pretty quickly, especially when shaders are cached.

That's not true. It depends primarily on the CPU and the drive (preferably an M2 SSD). There should also be enough RAM.

We have much more powerful PCs both. So the problem seems not in hardware.

You have a bottleneck issue for sure. It can be caused by either CPU, GPU or Internet connection.
What you described is exactly what i face on my laptop.
Issue does not exist on my PC.

Just don't move until you can see.
If you are playing duo, pushing one another will make you vulnerable to monster attacks even if you haven't moved.

Btw. "Powerful" is pretty damn vague for a PC specs.
Combat Balance > Feelings
happened to me playing poe1 bakc in the days... on hc. Lol.

What to say, even 1 min invul cant help if map loads too long. Just buy nextget pc or suffer to play.
You don't need a nextget PC to load maps quickly. However, it is essential for comfortable playing high-end content.

A year ago, you could buy an i5 12400F/R5 5600X, an M2 SSD, 32 GB of RAM, and other similar devices for next to nothing. Now, all of these cost twice as much.
