Merchant tab upgrade taking premium tabs but not giving merchant tabs

I upgraded 5 of my 20 premium stash tabs to merchant tabs. I have no merchant tabs and 15 premium tabs now. Please advise.

Hi there,
The Merchant's Tab is not accessible from your regular Stash. You can access your Merchant's Tabs by speaking to Ange after completing her quest in Act 4 in Path of Exile 2, and by speaking to Faustus in your hideout after meeting him in Path of Exile 1.
