making tornado more fun to play

Hello.
I would like to share my ideas here on how to make the tornado more enjoyable to play:
The main issue this skill has that it feels gimmicky / doesn't integrate well into the gameflow to generate multiple elemental surfaces to consume them.
I know that its possible to automate this process, e.g. with certain uniques, but it still feels artifical / too much building around that.

So my main proposal is to make this skill decent when used without an elemental surface and good when absorbing a single elemental surface, but remove the damage scaling when absorbing multiple surfaces (instead the tornado could just change its type when encountering a new surface).
This way the tornado would naturally integrate into the gameplay of creating a single elemental surface and then absorbing it with the tornado.

Furthermore I find the druid should have access to the small huntress tornados and the huntress should have access to the large druid tornado, so players can play the tornado version they prefer. This thread is intended for both skills.

Last but not least the tornado could be made more interesting in gameplay: depending on the elemental surface absorbed, it could gain an effect: the frost tornado could freeze, the fire tornado apply ignite and the shock tornado maybe throw little lightning bolts around it.
Maybe the tornado behaviour could also be changed like automatically seeking out nearby surfaces to absorb (which then also increases its duration). This would give the player a way to control the tornados movement to some degree indirectly. I don't think it should turn around 180* if a surface is placed directly behind it, but it would turn towards the right, if there is a surface in the front-right of it's current movement direction. Maybe it could "eat" the surface and therefore clear it from the map. Such things would need to be tested how they feel in actual gameplay.
