MTX hide or Re-buy policy
|
I recently migrated from POE on PS5 to PC, and the current handling of cross platform microtransactions feels really limiting.
I understand that MTX purchased on PlayStation may be locked due to platform rules, but the lack of any flexibility from GGG is very frustrating t say the least. There are a few reasonable options that could improve this a lot and be much more welcoming to players: - One time transfer of MTX between platforms - Discounted re-purchase option for items already owned (I mean GGG already made a profit once can we just compromise a bit here?) Or at the very least, the ability to hide MTX that show up but cannot be used on the current platform. what is the purpose of showing a bunch of MTX my account cannot use? ![]() Right now it feels like players are just expected to accept the loss when switching platforms, which is not very consumer friendly. I am not expecting a perfect solution, but some kind of middle ground would go a long way and show that GGG values players who move between platforms. I hope this is something that can be reconsidered. Last bumped on Apr 16, 2026, 9:55:52 AM

You say you know it's because of the Sony platform, but then your first suggestion is literally the exact thing Sony is trying to prevent. :P Your second suggestion is also just a way to get around paying Sony their platform transaction fees, so it could easily be something they raise a fuss about.
A filter to hide unavailable items though I'd imagine should be relatively simple enough to add. |
