Mapping in Standard: Nightmare maps

I have a complete 100/100 in my standard atlas but cannot launch any Nightmare or T17 maps. I have all 4 void stones. Right clicking on a map in inventory does light up blue spots in my atlas, but I cannot get the map window to open. is there something I need to do or complete in the standard atlas to make those maps available and active? The blue spots that show up in the various corners have map names, but not the maps themselves. I have tried with both Nightmare maps and old T17s.

Can't you just click the blue slots?

No. Once I stop my right click, the blue light stops. Putting my mouse over the spot will bring up the spot, but it disappears as soon as the mouse is moved.

Screenshots would help.

The usual assumption would be that you're relying on progress carried over from previous leagues, but this progress didn't get carried over to the new Atlas (except for Maven Witnesses). Hovering over a map should highlight where it is on the Atlas if visible, but with a yellow highlight instead of blue.

For the Northeast extension, with the Shaper/Elder and the Synthesis maps, do you have access to the Cortex and Uber Elder locations? Do the first Guardian map and the four Synthesis Memory maps have blue highlights (not cleared) when accessing the map device?


For the other three extensions, do the icons for the boss fight locations have only a gold circle (uncleared), or a blue engraving/styling (cleared)?
