Bloodmage COC COMET high dps vs sustainability

Hey guys,

I am seeing all those builds in POE NINJA with BM COC COMET builds and after having spent a lot of time playing, I am realising that they are not sustainable builds.

I do have nice sustainability and high dps. I can clean any map fast an easily and most of the mobs, included bosses, get one shotted.

My question is simple. Is it worth to go a high, 1 hit comet spell?
I find COC with stable dps and eli weakness a lot more fun, useful and stable.
