Animate guardian bug? He is picking up items on his own ? I lost two kingmakers to this.

Hello everyone,

I am posting here because I do not really understand what could be causing this.

My AG clearly is not using the Kingmaker two-handed axe (and I lost the fortification), but the thing is that I did not recast the skill to equip it.

I do not have the AG skill on the secondary skill bar or even when I swap.
The only thing I see is the trigger wand but that shouldn't have any interaction with the AG.

What can cause the AG to pick items without me casting it ?
Is it a bug with the new league mechanic or some obscure interaction ?

Do you have AG on your bar somewhere? Is that key bounded to something that you hit during gameplay?

Why shouldn't it? AG is a spell.
Do you use weapon swap? AG in your second weapon triggers when you use a spell (when you have a second weapon set active).

Yes, but only if the skill is socketed in the sceptre/trigger item.
I have the AG with the spectres in the Helm.

No, that is the thing.

I only bound it to a single slot only when I use it (my movement skill usually) and then remove it to avoid these kind of issues, same with the spectres.

you have an AG gem in your trigger wand on your weapon swap, which looks like you probably swap to use the portal gem... which will trigger the AG gem in the weapon swap.

so this is user error and not a bug.
