Lost Inscribed Ultimatum

Hey everyone!

I asked support and was directed to ask here.

Could you please tell me whether Inscribed Ultimatums are supposed to disappear after failing a Trial of Chaos? I've seen people claiming you could retry infinite times, but it didn't stay in my inventory after failing the trial.

If you fail (die), then the inscribed ultimatum disappears. If you crash, log out, disconnect or respawn at checkpoint, then you can re-enter. But you have to repeat the room you were in when you left.

So when you are about to die, you can press escape and respawn at checkpoint to have another go.

In PoE2, which is what this sounds like--the only Inscribed Ultimatum with infinite retries is the quest version you pick up in Act 3, that's meant to introduce you to the Trial of Chaos.
