Character movement locked in place

I've been having some kind of movement issues lately where my WASD inputs don't work and I can't move anymore. Whenever I load up POE2 my movement works fine, but when I press CRTL or SHIFT keys my movement just locks and I can't move anymore. I unbinded all keybinds that have CRTL in them and it still freezes me up. Even tabbing in and out of the game locks and freezes my movements.
