Chaos spells aren't viable late game.

I'm talking about *actual chaos spells not purple fire. They simply do not scale to endgame (T15).

The damage output of chaos has no scaling the way that literally any other archetype does. I have made multiple other characters using what the community would consider to be bad builds and they have thrived with enough time and effort put into them. This simply isn't feasible for chaos spells.

The setup I am using would destroy t15 bosses in seconds with ANY other damage type, and it is taking multiple minutes to kill T5 and even lower bosses using only chaos spells. That is if i can manage to dodge for 5 minutes straight to beat the boss at all.

Something feels broken about the damage scaling, because the same skills were not an issue to get me through the majority of the campaign.

None of the spells feel like they are in an okay place, not a single one. Most agregeously though, i have had over 200k damage on the tooltips for hexblast and i have to squint to see if it even did damage at all or just wiffed due to its ridiculous conditions to use it in the first place. The math simply isn't mathing.

These spells need to be massively reworked and a significant amount of play testing is in order.

What chaos spells are you refering to? I see you talk about Hexblast and i dont know about that one.

I used essence drain + contagion to try it out and it's very good even for bosses when using dark effygies, they die very fast.
Wasnt even on a witch but on a monk so i can only imagine it being very powerfull on a lish for exemple.
ED/C defenitly dont need buff.

As I stated all of them need looked at. Give me context, when did these spells feel like they were in an okay spot? This post is in regards to actual endgame.

I'm always doing T15/16 maps with 6 mods on them with that character, it's a HCSSF.
Bosses die in some secondes.
Set up is essence drain, contagion, dark effigies and i use chaos bolt to witter them + wittering presence and despair curse.

Nowhere near to be an efficient build so take it with caution.

I've seen people destroying pinacle bosses with essence drain, you can check on youtube for better reference than my silly builds.

Chayula needs looked at, thats a separate issue. Im curious what your essence drain damage is on your tooltips.

Tooltip dont mean much, i believe it's around 45k in hideout but go up to 75k in combat with flammes. That doesnt take in count wither and curse.
I believe lish low life is the best for it but i'm not sure about that one and i only play monk.
