Keep Poe2 different

I’ve been following the news for the 0.5 update, and honestly, I’m getting concerned about the direction the game is taking.
One of the biggest reasons I was excited for Path of Exile 2 was the promise of a more tactical, skill-based experience. I wanted a game where my positioning and my reactions mattered. But looking at the recent trajectory—expanding the Atlas trees to 40+ nodes and the heavy focus on porting over every old PoE 1 mechanic—it feels like we’re sliding right back into the "zoom-zoom" meta. If I wanted to play a game where I just walk through a map, click one button, and clear the entire screen without a second thought, I’d just go back to PoE 1. The "skill" in PoE 2 should stay in the combat, not just in how much time you spend on a spreadsheet or a third-party trade site. I don't want the endgame to become so bloated with PoE 1's legacy systems that the actual moment-to-moment gameplay loses its meaning again. I really hope GGG doesn't cave to the pressure of making PoE 2 a carbon copy of the first game. Keep the combat engaging, keep the bosses challenging, and please, don't let "efficient" gameplay mean "thoughtless" gameplay. There is no META system in this game. Multiplayer combat does not exist. It is a typical single-player, low-quality ARPG focused primarily on cosmetic items.
Do you want to see real META? Go play Diablo 3; this is a masterpiece. |

They need to rework all the content that they took from poe1 in order to make it work in poe2 like breach abyss ritual it needs far more less mobs and stronger mobs 2-3 packs but strong packs that you need to kite, I enjoy the slower meaningful combat but they are getting rid of it. It only exist in campaign and they making it easier and easier. They should revert back 0.1 and nerf most new things. A boss should not be oneshottet without perfect gear it should be a 1-3 min fight always even at lvl 80-90 if you don't have perfect gears. |

Im just gonna yap a little bit about what i like and would like.
The best version of this game vas 0.1 almost everything was great in that version, it was just missing some acts, interludes and crafting. I loved how crafting was in that version, that gamble feeling of crafting was good, it was just missing Abyssal crafting and fractures. all this other bulls*it with ritual omens is a BIG mistake, im not even gonna name those ritual omens, they are just a mistake. This is not a game where u need all tier 1 mods on items to complete it, u can even kill everything with ground bow with tier 3 mods or worse. Fractures are not good being a orb, fractures should be global ground drop loot, not locked under some mechanic, just global drop, where u are waiting to find that lucky moment when u find good drop with nice fracture on it, then u start that gamble crafting from 0.1 on it, after that u use abyssal witch is basacly almost 100% to get mod u want, almost. Why would u need any more then those, people usualy care about 3 mods on items and other 3 prefixes dont matter so much. If u want your game to matter, crafting needs to get big nerf. Then later in game u can implement influanced items like how the old shaper and elder was in poe1. Maybe even they can drop as fractured versions. Like every damn rare mattered when drop happened. That should be ARPG, not just im waiting for divine. rare items must matter. Meaningfull combat was good in 0.1, Change back those greater jewellers and perfect ones to drop much later in game, not to get them so soon. dont even know what else, just alot of nerf to gems and power generaly. maybe even put back those light stuns from 0.1 dont know im off sry for the yap :) IGN : __FrosT__

" Ye, this is bad they keep copypasting so many things from POE1. The game becomes overbloated, and that was one of the main reasons I stopped playing POE1. And I wonder if they understand that exactly this becomes a blocking wall for 95% of new players who just want to try the game. |
