Wishes - as of 10 Apr 2026

I'm after running a few dozen maps, and for a number of days now all the wishes I was offered by Varashta were, well... Crap.
No head on the stick lad key, no coins... Just some useless stuff I don't have any use for at this point in the League. Are yous... trying to actively discourage people from playing?... Last bumped on Apr 13, 2026, 5:35:08 PM

OK, another day of absolutely ZERO useful wishes from Varashta.
This league mechanic is pretty much not worth clicking on. |

1. The wishes are not the main reward for doing mirage. The mirage value comes from the inclusion of your choice of league mechanics inside of it. Example: an additional harvest grove, more unstable breaches, etc)
2. It sounds like you are working with a small sample size and powerful wishes are intentionally rare “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”

Just out of curiosity, are you completing every mirage you encounter or just checking the wishes and skipping?
Because I would think that GGG would expect players to complete mirages in order to be offered Black Baryas. I mean, it is even the whole reason we get Black Baryas... We continuously interfere with the rituals or whatever, so a tough guy holding the Black Barya is then sent to kill us. I could be wrong, of course, especially since there is no counter or anything. But since when is GGG clear about anything? |
