[Heist] Huck cant equip gear that requires level 5 when his skills are boosted to level 5

Basically, I crafted a trarthan powder with +1 job levels for heist, +1 demolition level

This gets Huck's demolition to level 5

But he can't equip gear that has a level 5 requirement, even though he meets the requirement of having a level 5 skill.

I was mostly having a bit of fun trying to figure out how much i can boost the lad because bringing him along with me on maps is fun, even spent a few div hitting the fracture for the level 15 anger, though that's on me because i probably should have checked if he could equip the item before crafting it, lol.

But yeah, he has a level 5 skill, shouldn't he be able to equip items that require level 5 skills?

I just did the same thing! I'm so sad - this should absolutely be allowed given the amount of effort it takes.
