Please clarify the current vision for PoE2

I really enjoyed 0.1 because it quite challenging and tactical, but every season after that I’ve enjoyed PoE2 less and less because it has effectively become a prettier PoE1 (with less content).
Personally I’m not a PoE1 fan. It’s too zoomy for my liking. And that’s fine, I know what it is, what it wants to be and whether it’s for me. But PoE2 was initially pitched as a slower pace game, and it started off like that, so I’m now wondering: where is it going? Will PoE2 continue to be more and more like PoE1? That’s fine, I just want to know. Because then I can just uninstall and forget about it. Or is the vision still in tact, but we had a 3 league long speedbump because it wasn’t clear before that PoE1 will actually be the game to keep PoE1 fans happy while PoE2 gets it’s own direction? GGG don't want to announce anything because they are pretending that they are keeping the balance but it is obvious from their direction that they abondoned their original vision. I would even say Chris used to measure things and run the game according his vision in POE 1. Jonathan and Mark proved they will scatter to any direction with the slight push from the loud part of the players. I don't like it either but still sticking around because in my opinion there is not enough comptetion between ARPGs yet.

Maybe they're just milking the PoE 1 player base of their money for as long as possible, and at the final second, they'll pull the rug, pass a patch, make the game challenging, with slow, meaningful combat, and we will have what we were promised.

majority of players left are poe1 players so it makes sense for them to cater towards that audience. they are not going to cater to the small group of tourists that are still left. most of them left already and wouldn't come back even if they slowed the game down

yeah I miss attribute stacking in 0.1. Screen wide storm wave with multi-herald chaining really got me used to slow and methodical combat

" ikr lol. 0.1 wasnt like that anywhere past act 2. this is like some brain virus going around lately. people have also tricked themselves into thinking that POE2 was going to be some boring, snail paced abomination of an elden ring copy when that was never ever going to be the case. :D

Did you watch the trailers and teasers? Killing bosses in a handful of seconds, screen clearing, all of it. I don't know if they can make the vision much clearer than that tbh.
