I used a coin of power on my Shield Crush of the Chieftain and it was imbued with Overexertion, which is not a valid support for Shield Crush of the Chieftain.

You use Shield Crush of the Chieftain with Multistrike Support, which makes attacks repeat. Attacks which repeat cannot be exerted.

shield crush of the chieftain can naturally be exerted... so not a bug.
