Rakiata's Flow
|
I really don't believe this works. I used it on Lunar Blessing on Uber Arbiter. It was like hitting him with paper. When I used Elemental Weakness with 65% reduction to his elemental resists, he dies reasonably fast. I've had times where I killed his second phase in 3 hits. I tried it with the Rakiata's and no curse, it was ridiculously slow. Then When I cursed him, he died fast enough to where it felt like I did enough to be reasonable. Then I literally took it out and killed his second form in about 4-5 hits. This gem is broken.
For anyone who doesn't get it. Uber ash has 75% all res. He should have -75% with this gem. At worst, he has 0% with the curse. I manage to obliterate him if I curse him with 65% reduction but basically do no damage at apparently 150% reduction... " Not questioning rakiata's flow on lunar blessing (actually yes, why there?) but where does 150% reduction comes from? Chance to see the build? If you manage to take him into negative resistances, rakiata's flow reverts them to positive 150% reduction should be -75% right? Rakiata consider it +75% Last edited by IILU81II#8410 on Mar 28, 2026, 11:59:52 PM

" Lunar Blessing is a powerhouse. Its super bursty. It's not as good as Flame Breath for that reason but the reason I started building around it is simply because I KNOW Flame Breath is going to be nerfed. No point in using something that kills shit in seconds when its just gonna disappear. As far as the reduction, Rakiata's is supposed to invert their elemental resistance. "Hits with Supported Skills treat Enemy Monster Elemental Resistance values as inverted" So Arbiter should go from +75% to -75% meaning 75+75 is 150%. When I use Elemental Weakness, it goes down by 65%, which makes him have 10% and 0% once my penetration kicks in. Considering either scenario, its -10% or 0% resistance against whatever element it is I am using. Both of the scenarios where he has FAR more resistance, I obliterate him. When he has -75, its like nothing changed. This is the build. It simply has my gear in there, nothing optimized. I feel the tree needs more work but it screen clears and destroys bosses. https://pobb.in/-ta_Iw-c-Wiz Last edited by HannibalGraham#5550 on Mar 29, 2026, 4:06:18 AM

" Fair enough on rakiata's flow with lunar blessing, also now i got the point with reduction. I see there in your link you are using exposure+potent exposure on galvanic field too and on the tree you have a bunch of increased magnitudes. So starting at 75% resist you apply EW and it goes on 10 (not sure about the value) then exposure kicks in and it goes somewhere in the negative values (didnt do the math with magnitudes n stuff) Last step is rakiata's flow so like i said you are probably fighting him with positive resistances instead. (losing that 8% of damage gained as extra lightning) You also have heavy frost (hits ignore non negative resistances on frozen enemies) so overall looking at the build rakiatas feels useless and your actual setup is better without it, if you manage to freeze him and take him down into negative res. You're not understanding. First, "Hits ignore non-negative hits" literally does nothing if the resist is 0 or less, its only useful against enemies who aren't 0% or below. My setup literally has no value beyond 0% MOST LIKELY against Arbiter. I doubt I am getting him anywhere below 0% resist. The gem itself literally says that it inverts the resistances. So lets assume that the "ignores non-negative resists" is valid during this, which it certainly can be. Inverting 0 to 0 is still 0. From what I understand, inversion happens after the curse but before the penetration. No matter how you slice it, it will ALWAYS be 0 or less rez for Ash. The fact that cursing him makes me do more damage proves that it doesnt work. He should ALWAYS have 0% res or less. ALWAYS.
I also dont use Galvanic Field, it does nothing. I just put shit in there to experiment and left it there. Last edited by HannibalGraham#5550 on Mar 29, 2026, 5:36:59 AM

" I can prove it works great instead with my build so it's definetely not bugged.... you are instead taking him into negative lightning resistance because of ele weakness and lightning exposure+potent exposure and all the increased magnitudes you have in the tree. since you allocated electrified claw you are gaining 8% of lunar blessing damage as extra lightning, it is furthermore increased if he has negative res (without rakiata) it is mitigated with rakiata (because of inversion). thats why you feel less dps while using it. why does it cost that much then if it is bugged? Ok you dont use galvanic field, how am i supposed to understand whats wrong then if you post a build and use half of it? Good luck. Last edited by IILU81II#8410 on Mar 29, 2026, 5:52:01 AM
