No skill book reward from tarkleigh

I completed the dweller in the deep quest. went to accept the quest reward but my inventory was full. Sold my items and selected the reward chat again and he just talks and doesn't give me the book. I do /passives and its sitting at zero.

So the quest is complete, tarkleigh is not offering the book, and the /passives command confirms i did not already accept the book.

You are in the Act I version of Lioneye's Watch, right?

It was some kind of UI glitch.

I went in with mouse and keyboard instead of my usual controller play style so I could take a screenshot.

It has a different format or view of the UI and the reward was grabbable.

It seems to be a controller only bug.
