Abyssal monster modifiers appearing on accompanying minions

I don't have a screenshot or anything but it's happened a few times and I was moderately amused by it, but now that I'm thinking about it it's probably a bug.

The most noticeable are Shadewalker, Crystalline Barrier and the aura that makes surrounding monsters invincible, but I've also seen a few other Abyssal modifiers which usually are reserved for rare monsters appear on Abyssal minions of the rare monsters.

Usually not a big deal because they go down pretty easily but it seems like it's probably not supposed to happen so leaving a note here.
Who am I to say anything, I don't respect my time either.

Carefully read which nodes you're taking in your Atlas Tree. Especially regarding the Abyss mechanic.
That's a good shout out! I did not consider those nodes because I don't have them allocated.

However, it looks like it could be related to a similar suffix which exists on Abyssal precursor tablets: "20-30%" increased chance for Abyssal monsters in your map to have Abyssal modifiers.

I didn't know any Abyssal monsters other than the rares had any chance whatsoever to have Abyssal modifiers and I dismissed the possibility with "number times zero = zero" logic.

So I'm assuming when the minions are inheriting some kind of bonus modifier from their Rare counterpart, the precursor/atlas mod must be giving it the chance to be a rare Abyssal modifier.

Thanks for the tip.
