Map boss drops additional scarabs from altar does not apply to bosses from terrors/pandemonium

I got map boss drops additional essence scarabs, but only the map boss drop it. The other atlas bosses spawned from terrors/pandemonium scarab in my map does not drop the essence scarabs. Is this intentional?
