CoC imbue not working with the new cooldown recovery support gem.

The new cooldown recovery support skill gem works with an actual level 1 CoC gem linked to a spell and attack but does not work on an imbued skill gem with CoC as the imbue. I have tried this with both the attack and the spell gem having the imbue of the CoC and in both cases cooldown recovery support does not work.
