Ran into this little friendly kiwi in a Vaal Temple map and was just surprised to seem it inside. Aside from the obvious of the NZ relations, I wonder if it had a more significant Easter Egg purpose.

That was one of the kiwi pets from a very very long time ago (PoE 1 Beta?). It may well have been accompanying a Rogue Exile.
